Graphite and carbon powders

Graphite and carbon powders

Application of carbonaceous materials

  • carbon raiser for cast iron and steel
  • injection carbons, slag foaming carbons, cover carbons etc. for metallurgy
  • solid lubricants and fillers for greases
  • raw material for electrocarbon production
  • anode material for Li-ion and other types of batteries
  • component of metallurgical briquettes

Specification

Types of materials

Synthetic graphite

Shavings of graphite electrodes. Electrodes are usually made from petroleum needle coke and petroleum pitch and then graphitized by heating them above the temperature (3000 °C) that converts carbon into graphite

Coal products

Mix of petroleum coke, anthracite and synthetic graphite heat treated at 1300 °C

Furnace charge materials

Mix of coal coke and anthracite heat treated at 1300 °C
