Moscow, March 20, 2018 – ENERGOPROM Group and EIRICH have signed a contract for EIRICH continuous intensive mixer at the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant (which is part of ENERGOPROM). The production of the new equipment is 10 tons per hour, and commissioning is planned for the first half of 2019.
The document was signed by EIRICH Managing Director Stefan Eirich and Business Executive Matthias Bechtold, and by ENERGOPROM Group CEO Victor Nechuyatov.
The new equipment at the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant will be used to prepare mass for pressing UHP graphite electrodes. The installation of the EIRICH continuous intensive mixer will allow properties of the mass to be stabilized before pressing, ensure stable and uniform quality of the electrodes, and increase the reliability of their operation. The new equipment is capable of outproducing 5 old-style mixers.
According to Viktor Nechyuatov, CEO of the ENERGOPROM Group, the installation of new equipment at the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant is ENERGOPROM Group's next step on the way to increasing volumes and improving the quality of the products.
