The project is being implemented together with Rostov regional administration for the 'Human Resources' national project.
Igor Guskov, First Deputy Governor of Rostov Region and El 6 Novocherkassk branch director Gennady Velichko signed an agreement to train 120 professionals in 14 areas that the plant needs in 2025. 4 Rostov colleges and El 6 Novocherkassk corporate Educational Center will host the training free of charge. All project participants are going to get guaranteed jobs. The trial project, initiated by the regional administration and local corporate management
is focused on expedited training of highly capable professionals for key companies in the area. Similar agreements were signed with two more regional companies. In total, there are 25 enterprises on the list.
Each of them is going to develop a roadmap charting their talent demand in various operational areas. The Rostov regional administration helps in searching for candidates wishing to undergo targeted training and find venues to host it. The pilot project covers Novocherkassk College of Industry and Humanities, Rostov College of Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Shakhty Polytechnic College and Shakhty Trade School No. 36.
'This is one of those initiatives that can become real drivers for the regional industrial development. It is because the human resources issue is key for us, as it is for other companies in the Don area. Often, we and our peers need people who know the specifics of our unique industries, and they are hard to find. That is why we also have our corporate educational center where we train professionals specifically for us. Launching this project made it possible for us to scale that process up. We are happy to assist with curriculum design and involve our people in the training process, so that the students feel as close to the hands-on production as possible. I am convinced that this trial collaboration project by the Rostov regional administration, our plants and colleges will go on to become a mainstay," said El 6 Novocherkassk branch director Gennady Velichko.
Free training will be provided to professionals in 14 areas who later are going to be employed by El 6 Novocherkassk: from mill handlers and kilners to CNC machine operators and chemical lab assistants.
59 out of 120 prospective staff members will be trained under the 'Human Resources' national project launched this year.
