On November 2021, as part of digital transformation, the development of "digital plant" project is in progress at “EL 6” (former EMP Group) production sites.
Representatives of El 6 completed training at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO under the Leaders of Digital Transformation programme. The training group also included representatives of T Plus, Airports of Regions, Kortros Group, Hevel Group, and other companies.
The main objectives of the programme are developing a common management language and systemic understanding of digital transformation; expanding the horizons of thinking beyond the existing operational business; studying the best international and Russian practices.
The training resulted in the Digital Plant project for El 6 enterprises, which involves the implementation of a predictive intelligent production planning model, digitalization of the production and resource accounting process, and a digital channel of interaction with customers. These changes will affect many business units and processes of enterprises.
According to Ekaterina Gvozdeva, Deputy Director and Chief Financial Officer at El 6, the this project is aimed at increasing the efficiency of production capacity utilization and labour productivity, optimizing in-plant logistics and inventory turnover, increasing the speed of obtaining information and its transparency. Due to this project, within a few years the company will be able to reach a new level of digital maturity.
