EL 6 COMPANY TO HOLD THE III INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: THE ROLE OF GRAPHITE AND CARBON-BASED PRODUCTS IN INDUSTRY ON MAY 15 TO 17 IN SUZDAL
Moscow, March 12, 2024: El 6 company will hold the III International Production Engineering Conference: The Role of Graphite and Carbon-Based Products in Industry for technical specialists of leading industrial companies on May 15 to 17 in Suzdal.
The 2024 program includes presentations and roundtable discussions on the following topics: trends in the market of graphite and carbon-based products; state-of-the-art technology in the manufacture of artificial graphite products; research aimed at increasing the strength of graphite products, and the factors affecting their consumption; as well as prospects for needle coke production in Russia.
The event will be attended by representatives of major research institutes: Graphite Research Institute (NII Grafit); the Vyksa Branch of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS; RTU MIREA; Saint Petersburg Mining University, and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
The following presentations will be made at the Conference: Prospects for Scrap as a Raw Material for Electrometallurgy, Features of Ferroalloy Production, New Materials: Refractories, and How the Green Agenda Impacts the Industry.
Representatives of El 6 company will share with the event participants their latest developments in grippers for graphitized electrodes during operation, and sum up the results of the roundtables at the II International Production Engineering Conference in 2023: Ferroalloys, Steel, Construction Materials, and Aluminum.

The International Production Engineering Conference: The Role of Graphite and Carbon-Based Products in Industry is an annual event for technical specialists of leading industrial companies in the steel, aluminum, ferroalloy, and chemical industries, as well as manufacturers of refractory materials. In 2023, the Conference was attended by more than 100 participants from 43 organizations based in Russia, China, Kazakhstan, and Georgia.
