EL 6 HAS ESTABLISHED A NEW PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CARBON-AND-GRAPHITE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS
Novosibirsk, September 26, 2023: With the support of El 6 Novosibirsk, the Linyovo Vocational Training Center formed the first group of students in Specialty 22.02.02: Metallurgy of Non-Ferrous Metals, qualification: "Technician."
The El 6 Novosibirsk initiative is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region. The educational program based on general secondary education lasts 3 years and 10 months. Training is paid for from the regional budget.
The program includes general educational and professional modules, such as team work planning and management, occupational safety on the production site, maintenance of the primary and the auxiliary process equipment and utilities in production, chemical and physicochemical methods of analysis, materials science, metrology, standardization, certification, and many other disciplines.
Career guidance work carried out by the HR Directorate of El 6 Novosibirsk and the Youth Council allowed to form a group of students for the new training program in the shortest possible time.
Andrey Biryukov, HR Director, El 6 Novosibirsk: "These are our future employees, and we have high hopes for them. Competition for qualified personnel is growing in the labor market. We are working for the future and training young people to cover our prospective needs for mid-level specialists."
According to Andrey Biryukov, El 6 Novosibirsk will provide sponsorship for the Linyovo Vocational Training Center to expand its material resources and will provide the students with the opportunity to undergo practical training at the Branch site.
Sergey Golovkin, Director of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution of the Novosibirsk Region "Linyovo Vocational Training Center": "We have accepted the proposal of El 6 Novosibirsk to establish a new educational program with great enthusiasm. Traditionally, the Center trained skilled workers and employees: electricians, welders. We have started training mid-level specialists for the first time, and we believe that this is a good opportunity to further development of our institution."
Upon completion of the training program, its graduates will receive two documents: a diploma of secondary vocational education and a worker's profession certificate. This will allow young specialists to work as laboratory assistants, process technicians, quality control inspectors, or carbon-and-graphite production foremen.
