At the Novosibirsk Industrial Site “EL 6” together with “IES-GARANT” (part of the "T Plus" group) implementing an energy saving project under an Energy Service Contract.

In April 2021 “IES-GARANT” began to work on the project at the Novosibirsk Industrial Site “EL 6”.

The first part of the project is aimed at improving energy efficiency. Frequency converters on smoke exhausters are installed on six kilns, allowing remote control of technological processes, as well as reducing electricity consumption up to 50% of the current value.

The second part of the project was to modernize the ceiling lighting at two stages: a machine workshop and a kiln workshop. The cable was replaced and modern LED lights were installed. The result was energy savings, improved industrial safety and improved working conditions for the company’s employees. At present, the lighting in the workshops corresponds to 220 LUX.

The project is being implemented without costs from “EL 6”, the resulting savings will be returned to “IES-GARANT” under the terms of three Energy Service Contracts for 3.4, 2.5 and 4.5 years. After this period, the Novosibirsk Industrial Site will save more than 10 million kWh per year, which in monetary terms will amount to about 30 million rubles. Also, thanks to the transformations, it will be possible to reduce CO2 emissions from 10 to 12 thousand tons per year.
