Novosibirsk, August 12, 2020: Partnership between EPM Group and the Federal State-Funded Educational Institution of Higher Education Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) will result in training technical experts.
The program aims at creating conditions for continuous training of the EMG Group's talent pool of young specialists possessing the necessary knowledge level and relevant skills.
Currently, candidates are enrolled online. According to the admission board, applications are accepted not only from the Novosibirsk region. There are candidates from Eastern Siberia, Kazakhstan, and the Ural. The project includes full-time state-funded programs at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technologies and allows obtaining a Master's degree in Chemical Technologies of Carbon Materials.
"Partner programs that involve industrial companies as stakeholders in the educational sector allow solving a great number of critical problems. The universities can adjust their curricula according to the needs of the industry, while industrial enterprises employ highly qualified personnel with special expertise," said Vasily Yanpolsky, Dean of the Mechanics and Technology Faculty of NSTU.
Svetlana Mikhailova, HR-Director of EPM Group, believes that graduates of such programs need less time to adapt to a new job because they get acquainted with the manufacturing process even while studying. Apart from that, it is planned to involve specialists of the company as experts who will acquaint students with peculiarities of technology and conduct separate lectures or whole courses.
