EPM Group implementes a set of employee protection measures
Moscow, April 24, 2020. During the pandemic, EPM Group implements activities to improve the health and safety protection of employees. Certain measures were taken to change working conditions and working space, to disinfect the premises, to provide employees with personal protective equipment, to monitor their well-being, etc.
The pandemic situation has required adequate decisions affecting all aspects of production. Since the beginning of March, the EPM Group has regularly disinfected and sanitized production facilities and office premises. At the enterprises, additional entrance spaces were opened to separate the arriving and departing flows. At all the company's factories, markings were made to maintain a safe distance, movements between workshops were reduced. New rules for use of disposable tableware in canteen were established.
Every day, before the start of the working shift, temperature is measured for all employees. The maximum possible number of specialists was transferred to the remote employment mode, business trips were cancelled. To reduce personal communication, payment for cell-phone connection has been arranged. The company constantly supplies employees with personal protective equipment. For those traveling by public transport, masks and protective gloves are issued additionally.
In the regions, where the Group’s companies are town-forming, private volunteers initiatives are supported to purchase and deliver food and medical supplies to older people. Group enterprises provide assistance to sponsored educational institutions, childcare centers and other social organizations.
