Moscow, November 12, 2021: Metalloinvest has assigned a high rating to EL 6 (previously EPM Group), based on the values of the United Nations Global Compact.

Metalloinvest has presented its first supplier rankings that are based on the values set out in the United Nations Global Compact, with EL 6 (previously EPM Group), Bentonite and UZTM-KARTEX as the best companies in ESG practices. The award ceremony took place in Metalloinvest’s booth at Metall-Expo’2021 running these days in Moscow.

The common methodology for supplier accreditation was developed by Metalloinvest together with B2B-Center, the Russia's largest electronic trading platform for corporate purchases and sales, and was presented in the summer. They have already evaluated 1,700 companies to date.

With accreditation at the B2B-Center platform, counterparties provide information about their respective levels of industrial safety, discrimination cases, if any, and adherence to fair competition/anti-corruption rules and environmental standards, while scoring high points for any of the parameters requires supporting documents. Based on the survey, counterparties gain points to be ranked in the unified rankings.

“Metalloinvest and EL 6 have been cooperating over many years. Our company has supplied graphitized electrodes of multiple grades for more than twenty years.
