SGS S.A., an international audit company, has completed the audit of the quality management system at the Chelyabinsk Electrode Plant and issued an ISO 9001:2008 compliance certificate.
Quality management system audits take place once every four years. The aim of the audit is to verify that the quality management system of an enterprise is able to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
SGS representatives inspected the work of the Chelyabinsk plant’s production and maintenance divisions, and the quality assurance, sales, procurement and HR departments.
As a result the auditors have found that the Plant maintains the quality system management in accordance with international standards, and issued an ISO 9001:2008 compliance certificate to the Plant.
